Professor Dawud Olatokunbo Shittu Noibi, OBE, is a revered Is lamic scholar and retired Professor of Islamic Studies at the Uni versity of Ibadan, Nigeria. Former Resident Islamic Consultant to IQRA Trust, London, he co-founded the Muslim Council of Britain and was the founder of the Council of the Nigerian Mus lim Organisations (UK) as well as the Southwark Muslim Forum. He was invited back to Nigeria to be the pioneer Executive Secre tary of the Muslim Ummah of Southwest Nigeria (MUSWEN), a position he held for eleven (11) years.
